Our programs
The Wicci Poland-India Foundation's Business Birthing School is a nine-month and practically designed programme that prepares women to start their own businesses.
Importantly, the programme is a combination of classes to develop hard and soft skills. It combines classes in finance, accounting and marketing with workshops on skills such as public speaking and writing a business plan.
Our analysis shows that women often judge themselves too harshly and thus torpedo their own plans; our Business Birthing School seeks to change this by offering holistic support for women who struggle with self-doubt or insecurity.
The first edition of the Wicci Poland-India Foundation's Business Birthing School, held online, was a success. As a result of the 9-month programme, several participants started their own businesses, and they talked about their successes and how the School helped them realise their dreams in a real way during the Women's Economic Forum in Katowice.
Why is it so important to provide women with the opportunity to open their own businesses?
In this way, we are breaking down stereotypes about women, and contributing to changes in society by showing that every woman can be successful in both fields - in business and at home at the same time.
